Muscles – Going to do it the hard way.

I was toying with the idea of using some performance enhancing drugs to help me get more gains. Thinking about it, I was excited, I noticed that I have gained a bit of size around my arms and legs and chest and am feeling pretty pumped.

I was also talking to people who were thinking about using Tren, Deca or something similar. That got me excited about the gains I was going to get. Then I thought a little more about it and decided that that isn’t why I was doing this.

I could cheat, yep, I could. But then again, I could just keep going to the gym and get my next achievement. Like, two days ago, I did a deadlift of 140Kgs. That’s the most I have ever done. I feel sore, I feel great! I feel as though I have earned this.

My thoughts around using drugs to enhance my performance would be like paying for Candy Crush extra items, or cutting inline. I know that I’ll get there faster, but did I really earn it?

Slowly and surely. That’s what I am doing.

So, I’ve been meeting myself half way – not good enough.

I decided to lose weight, and get abs and be healthy and all that.

I found out that those sort of goals are unmeasurable, so they are likely not going to happen. Fuck logic man.

I have been diligent with my gymming, I quite enjoy going for a jog before hitting the weights. I’ve been doing 21minutes of HIIT… usually along the lines of

Changing the intervals every minute from 6km/ph to (up to) 14km/ph.

I get my heart rate up to 180bpm at the end of the fast bit and then try to get it backdown to 150bpm or below for the walking period.

I’m still eating shit though… it is so hard not to eat chocolate in the UK. It all tastes so good!

Well, It’s 2016 – What should I resolve?

You know, apart from the obvious.

A few years ago, I tried something new every month, well, that is how it started, but I basically set out a few little tasks for me to complete. I won a few, I failed a few, but all in all I was much better for it.

So, I am going to do it again.  Just a little bit different. This time I am not going to try something each month. This time, I am going to focus on a select few.
